Coming from three different sellers, I managed to grab all three ties for about $34.

Interview - Paul McGregor
I recently interviewed Paul McGregor, Editor in Chief at Mens Fashion Magazine, about his start with fashion and where it's going this season. Paul has been a fashion journalist for several years, writing for the likes of
FashionBeans, Styloko and the Style King. He's also a lecturer at the London College of Fashion and owner of Brighterman.com.
How did you first become interested in fashion?
What led you to launching Mens Fashion Magazine?
When
I was running an online retailer selling clothing accessories, I was
pretty surprised to find there wasn't a lot of online publications which
offered accessible advice for men of all ages. Some of the fashion
magazines focused specially on a few things, where as I wanted to create
something more broad and available to the regular guy. I guess this
discovery led me to launch MFM.
Who inspires your personal style?
I
take inspiration from a lot of style icons, people I meet, and even
from just browsing lookbooks online. I really like Lapo Elkann's style
right now, along with Mr Gandy (I'm British, so of course I'll include
David Gandy lol)
What are some fashionable pieces to pick up this spring?
Pastels we're huge last season
and they've seemed to hold their weight too this season. A linen blazer
is going to really transform any look this spring, and for me personally
I'd invest in a few timeless pieces such as polo shirts, tailored
shorts and light weight tees. These can be worn season after season.
Don't
get me wrong, I love prints but I've also seen a lot of guys get it
totally wrong and end up looking like a rainbow. If you're going to rock
any print whether its floral prints or animal prints, look to keep it
subtle to start with. So pair it with a neutral colour to act as a
neutraliser to the bright print. Some guys know how to pull off prints
and create a statement, but others get it completely wrong.
What items make up a classic spring/summer wardrobe?
Keep
things simple. Opt for chino shorts, tailored shorts, short sleeved
shirts, polo shirts, light weight cardigans and linen blazers. Loafers
too will complete any look, and again all of these pieces are timeless.

Another Sad Day
"When someone saves your life and gives you life, there's gratitude, humility; there's a time you've been so blessed you realize you've been given another chance at life that maybe you did or didn't deserve."
Forget fashion, style, all that artificial stuff. Today, let's think about taking advantage of life - the opportunities we have, the lessons we can learn, the messages we can give to others.

Getting Knotty - Knottery Laces
Several weeks ago, I placed my first order from the Knottery, a company known for its fantastic selection of ties, pocket squares, and of course, shoe laces. I ordered 7 sets of laces, including three colors not pictured here. After a couple uses of each shoe since being equipped with the new laces, I couldn't be happier. Not only do the laces offer a vibrant and unexpected touch of color, they're also rather well constructed.
The colors shown are Cherry Red, Neon Orange, Tree Green and Royal Blue, and currently seventeen colors are available. They say you can tell a lot about a man by his shoes, so what can you gather about a guy, bold enough to wear neon orange laces on his Aldens? Knottery laces are the perfect way to enhance your outfit, as you would with a pocket square or lapel accent (which the Knottery also sells). Along with my laces, I picked up a silk knit tie in Deep Purple. Just like the laces, the quality of the tie is superb, and a true deal at only $25. Click any of the links above to check out the offerings.

Today at the Thrift
Along with my Hickey Freeman suit from yesterday, this windowpane wonder provoked a wow moment. Seriously, aside from muttering "wow," I was otherwise speechless upon picking up this suit. A baby blue/orange tattersall overlay and a chartreuse lining might scare some guys. Screw 'em. We should all be willing to have some fun with out wardrobes and swap out the navy worsted for the tan tattersall once in awhile.
One question. Can anyone tell me anything about Fashion Park?

Today at the Thrift - The Fabulous Freeman
When you find a good suit, you know it. Today, I found a good suit. Actually, it's a f***ing awesome suit in a tremendously soft herringbone wool with a 3/4 lining and soft shoulders and flat-front trousers and those trousers contain an impeccably made, striped lining.
Damn, I love thrifting.

Discovered on Tumblr, not sure of the original source.

Wish List - Oxford Shorts
This spring, take some time off from twill and invest in several pairs of oxford shorts. They're available everywhere from Target and JCP to Brooks and Ralph Lauren. Just remember to not wear an oxford shirt with your oxford shorts.
