Like a yellow wool sweater, there's just something classic about yellow corduroy and this year, another fortunate result of the trad/prep/ivy/whatever trend, corduroy can be found in almost every color. Izod has put out these updated cords for a very reasonable price compared to that of Rugby's latest model, priced $89.50. With a fine 14-wale weave and five-pocket styling, these cords will wear more like your favorite jeans than like the stodgy cords you grew up with.
This screenshot comes from Belk.com and if you're patient, you'll likely find these on sale even cheaper in the near future. Macy's also carries Izod, but I'm yet to see this selection offered. Also, Rugby's cords are certainly worth checking out once the price drops.
