The mistakes here are obvious, but then again, we all make style mistakes. 

My problem comes from seeing close to 100 Tumblr re-blogs and positive comments just after this posted. I want to know what these people are thinking, not the guy who put this together.

Right now, Brooks Brothers' Black Fleece colognes are marked down from $85 to $34. All three scents sound appealing, but of course I'm hesitant to buy without having smelled a single one. 

Any feedback on these would be greatly appreciated!

Today at the Thrift - Oxxford and Southwick

 Oxxford puts out some of the best stuff a guy can buy, and in recent months I've been fortunate to find a lot of it. One of Charleston's great menswear shops, which is now closed, supplied Oxxford to its top customers. Although this piece comes from Bergdorf Goodman, I'm always amazed to see the custom jobs from around here.

This ever-classic Southwick herringbone tweed comes from Atkinson's. A Google search turned up nothing but a shop in Newport Beach, California. If anyone has more information, let me know. Like many of you thrifters out there, contemplating the backstory behind a piece is half the fun of buying. Of course, regardless of where this jacket was sold, it's fantastically well-made.
