Name. That. Brand.

One of the latest additions to the CKC Shoppe is a navy/cream houndstooth jacket from Ross Hadley.
But can anybody tell me anything about this company? Google's got nothin.'

Today at the Thrift - Oxxford and Southwick

Oxxford puts out some of the best stuff a guy can buy, and in recent months I've been fortunate to find a lot of it. One of Charleston's great menswear shops, which is now closed, supplied Oxxford to its top customers. Although this piece comes from Bergdorf Goodman, I'm always amazed to see the custom jobs from around here.

This ever-classic Southwick herringbone tweed comes from Atkinson's. A Google search turned up nothing but a shop in Newport Beach, California. If anyone has more information, let me know. Like many of you thrifters out there, contemplating the backstory behind a piece is half the fun of buying. Of course, regardless of where this jacket was sold, it's fantastically well-made.

Wish List - Brooks Corduroy Bomber

I had a bright red corduroy bomber as a little kid. One of my favorite things, I wore it around everywhere. With the full-on resurgence of corduroy this season from high to low end, the perfect corduroy bomber can be found yet again. Brooks is offering the bomber seen here in camel and navy - both great options - though I prefer the navy. With a plaid lining and two-button stand-up collar, this jacket offers a suitable alternative to the standard windbreaker.
