First of all, some of you might be against pairing shorts with blazers regardless of pattern. I believe shorts can go with blazers if they're of proper cut and style. But disregarding the opposition, can such combination succeed in madras? In such muted tones, the entire outfit has cohesion.
Yet, would you do double madras?

ReplyDeleteI've been keeping an eye out for a pair of madras pants in my size but so far have been out of luck. Patch madras takes things up yet another notch in the "go to hell" department. I don't think I'm quite ready for them yet (although I could possibly be convinced if a pair fell into my lap for cheap). :)

Mister - I just bought Ralph's patch madras short on sale for $60. I've never paid so much for shorts or even pants, but as a big guy I can never find them at the thrifts and was quite willing to put up the cash.
