Thanks for your feedback, gents. I suppose a corduroy shirt is a nice alternative to flannel, but then again I'm not into flannel. I would never wear corduroy shorts. The appeal of corduroy is its extra warmth, which one shouldn't need if the weather's warm enough to wear shorts anyway.
A definite an enthusiastic yes from me. I would buy all three.
