Though not made in Italy or USA like older Cole Haan styles I'm so fond of, this new pair is working its way into my fall rotation.

Nice looking shoes. I have a pair of Cole Haan driving shoes made in Brazil that I bought about ten years ago. The quality was surprisingly good but definitely not near their old shoes.
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame to see what's become of brands like Cole Haan, Bass, Florsheim, Johnston & Murphy. I'd rather refurbish the good stuff from a thrift shop or eBay than buy something new. Even after minor repair expenses, I still save a lot of money and get something broken in.
