I'll miss my madras and seersucker, but I prefer the sartorial opportunities of autumn and winter. Layering is much more fun and interesting than having to keep to shorts and a polo or sport shirt. The only color that doesn't look quite right outside of spring/summer is "Nantucket Red." Otherwise, I find it perfectly acceptable to wear bright pinks and such all year.
It's August 21st. It's 90F out. I won't be putting shorts away until like... The end of September. At least not on sunny days.
